The New Gospel

In the [last seventy years] or so, we have advanced from not knowing the identity of our genetic material to learning the medium of its message is DNA, to cracking the genetic code, to sequencing genomes to create new life … It is hard to imagine where [this] will take us in the next seventy years, but wherever this new era of biology is heading, I know that voyage will be as empowering as it is extraordinary.
